ICON eStore ("the App”) integrates your Shopify store with ICON eStore warehouse automation robot by New Icon. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

In this privacy policy we refer your data as a merchant as ”Merchant data” and your Shopify store's customer data as ”Customer data”.

Personal Information the App Collects

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account as Merchant data: to read products, to read and write orders and also the email address and address details of your Shopify store.

We collect Merchant data directly from the relevant individual, through your Shopify store, or using the following technologies: “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org. “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps. “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the App.

The App also collects necessary Customer data from your Shopify store in order to function properly. This data is only stored for a period of time it is needed to process the order fulfillments and possible returns with the App. This period is 60 days and after that the data is deleted. This customer data includes order information, customer contact details and address information.

How Do We Use Merchant Data?

We use Merchant data to provide the Service and to operate the App. Additionally, we use this personal information to: Communicate with you; Optimize or improve the App; and Provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

How Do We Use Customer Data?

We use Customer data to make the App usable and to improve the usability of the App for different kind of shipping and fulfillment configurations. The Customer data is needed with the order data that is be processed by the App. We don't store Customer data longer than needed for the App to function properly and we don't share Customer data anywhere.

Sharing Merchant data

We share merchants email address with Klaviyo, the email newsletter provider, of which we use to send important information regarding the App. You can always unsubscribe from the email list, and your email information will be removed from Klaviyo. Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Your Rights If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

Sharing Customer data

We do not share your store's Customer data with any facet.

Limited access to Merchant and Customer data

We limit the access to Merchant and Customer data by our personnel so that only the limited individuals working with Approosters has access to the data, and all the individuals who work for Approosters have signed a strict non-disclosure agreement not to share or collect the data other than the parts mentioned in this privacy policy.

We also limit the access to any Merchant or Customer data with strong passwords and two-factor authentications.

Data loss prevention strategy

We have a data loss prevention strategy to help keeping your data safe. This strategy includes technical controls, policies and standards to protect your and your customers data.

Security incident response policy

If we notice any data breach or security incidence regarding chances of any personal information ending up in wrong hands, we'll notify the affected merchants and take instant actions on protecting the data and fixing the possible vulnerabilities.

Data retention

When you install the App, we will maintain your contact information (Merchant data) for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. Customer data collected by the App is kept safe only for 60 days until it will be deleted. If the App needs to access customer data after that (e.g. you need to print order templates for an old order using the App), the data is re-acquired and stored for another 60 days, until it will be deleted.

Changes We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
