Packrooster Shipping now supports Shopify Market Driven Shipping. You can configure shipping rates per Shopify Market, and Packrooster shows the rates from your Markets in the Connect shipping methods section. Your shipping setup now follows the same market structure you already use in Shopify.
Customs settings follow your markets too. You can set a VAT ID for each Shopify Market in the general settings or during onboarding. Incoterms can be set per market for DHL eCommerce Europe, DHL Express, DHL Freight Sweden, FedEx, GLS Finland, PostNord, DSV Sweden, Shipit and UPS. With Shipit you can pick DAP or DDP per shipping zone or per market, and with UPS you can also set the declaration statement per market.
This matters most if you sell outside the EU, for example to Norway or the United Kingdom, where duties and VAT are handled differently from your home market. When rates, VAT IDs and incoterms are tied to the market, each shipment gets the right customs details without you fixing them order by order.
To get started, turn on Market Driven Shipping in Shopify. If the Packrooster asks you to approve new permissions, approve them and reload the app. If you turn Market Driven Shipping off later, your Shipping Zones are shown again.
